Article directories are websites that publish free articles. These articles are usually put there by whoever has written them also known as the copywrite.  They use their articles as a promotion to view other sites for more information.   Each article usually provides the author’s name and location where you can contact them for more information on the related subject,  which is usually their website they are promoting.

By using article directories, the principal concept is that potential subscribers who are interested in your subject of your article will see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and will most likely visit your website.

Furthermore, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites about article writing will inevitably use your article for their website.   Whenever your article is reproduced  your byline must be attached, bringing you even more exposure for every website that re-posts your article.  You will benefit from your article appearing on other websites.

There are numerous article directories out there for you to utilize. Your bet best is to put a copy of each of your articles on every one for maximum exposure. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new orders and more profit.   Start with five article submissions but make sure you mix your content.  You do not want to submit duplicate content to your article directory sites.
